Outdoors Workshops Outdoor skills are taught on our beautiful grounds in rural upstate New York, Southern Washington County Most of our workshops take place over a weekend as sometimes, a night in the woods presents unique learning opportunities that would otherwise not be available. These courses cover a variety of skills. Orienteering is one of our most practically useful for the amateur outdoorsman, while some of our foraging, hunting, tracking, trapping and survial classes will help those familiar with the countryside, or even avid outdoorsmen hone their skills. ﷯ Our workshops will let you catch a glimpse of what life was like for the ancient gauls, living in primeval european forests, or the frontiersmen of the American West in the 1830's and 40s.
